Graphic Design Assistant

We are in search of an awesome Graphic Design Assistant (Intern), who is visually creative, task-oriented and, most of all, passionate about live music. Creates visually stunning web content, documents, and presentations that will draw in customers and help to accurately represent our brand. Applicant must be comfortable working remotely with occasional in person meetings, if possible. Must be able to receive credit for internship. Responsibilities

  • Meets with Marketing Team and discussing options for brand messaging, images, and style

  • Provides Marketing Team with timelines of when projects will be complete

  • Uses creativity and flair to design unique and appealing pieces

  • Gives multiple options to clients or redesigns projects as needed

  • Presents new concepts and ideas to Marketing Team

  • Communicates back and forth by sending proofs and makes any requested changes

  • Aids in the print process for printed materials

  • Acts as liaisons between printers and the clients to make sure to meet all needs

  • Designs posters for local shows and posts for social media

Graphic Design Skills and Qualifications:

Graphic Design Degree or relevant experience, Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Spark Post, Working as a Member of a Marketing Team to develop new concepts and ideas, Ability to Take Criticism and Make Changes, Good Customer Service Skills, a Strong Work Ethic, Ability to Work Independently, Creative Thinking

Social Media Assistant

Social Media Assistant Job Duties:

  • Manages company social media channels, including Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, Reddit and other relevant platforms

  • Engages in social media presence creation on new and emerging social media platforms

  • Concepts dynamic written, graphic, and video content

  • Optimizes content following search engine optimization (SEO) and pay-per-click (PPC)

  • Creates content that promotes audience interaction, increases audience presence on company sites, and encourages audience participation

  • Assists social media management with large projects, events, concerts, and community management

  • Analyzes and reports audience information and demographics, and success of existing social media projects

  • Proposes new ideas and concepts for social media content

  • Works with marketing and social media team members to coordinate ad campaigns with social media strategy

  • Writes and distributes e-newsletters to subscribers

  • Manages social media communications (DMs)

  • Uses timelines and scheduled content to create a consistent stream of new content for audience interaction while analysing, managing, and altering schedules where necessary to optimize visits

  • Social Media Assistant Skills and Qualifications:

Marketing or Social Media Marketing Degree Preferred, Technology Skills, Content Writing, Graphic Design, Campaign Execution, Teamwork, Self-Motivation, Strong Communication Skills, Networking, Idea Presentation, SEO and PPC, Proofreading, Strong Customer-Service Skills, Enthusiasm, Detail-Oriented, Collaboration
